Postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) is the most common complication of shingles. The condition affects nerve fibers and skin, causing burning pain that lasts long after the rash and blisters of shingles disappear. The pain and emotional stress that these patients have to suffer often make them difficult to complete simple daily tasks that most people find it easy—for example, put on clothes to go on with their normal lives.
In this campaign, we're trying to extend that empathy and show that inner pain and the emotional struggles that the patients with PHN are going through.
